It’s entirely up to you!
Steve can perform using your own professional in-house PA system, or you can hire Steve on a fully self-contained basis, with his own professional PA system.
Staging, lighting and haze-effect machines are also readily available.
Steve has high quality PA systems in both the UK and in Spain - local to the Costa del Sol and Gibraltar.

UK  -  Staging & Lighting:
For venues without their own stage & lighting, this can be provided.   Steve is available complete with:
2m x 1m, 30cm, working podium
 2 x synchronised 3x500w icolour DMX-controlled stage lights
4 x PAR 58 spotlights
Haze machine
Background & disco-style lighting (if appropriate)

Helping to create a professional show in even the most intimate of venues.  
NB: stage, lighting and effects are not provided unless specified in the contract at point of booking.

Spain  -  Staging & Lighting:
Whilst readily available in the UK, Staging & Lighting can be provided in for performances in Spain, however this is subject to availability and pre-booking.  Price on application.  
Standard-availability stage lighting is expected to be added to Steve’s Spanish rig during 2012.

Large-Scale Venues, Main-Stage Outdoor Events & Corporate Bookings:
For large-scale venues, productions, public fairs & main-stage outside events requiring additional, all weather or heavy-duty PA equipment and/or professional staging, rigging & lighting - this can be provided, but is strictly subject to availability and prior booking - price on application.

Backing Tracks / Playbacks:
Most solo-singers work with backing-tracks, commonly referred to as "playbacks", which can vary drastically in quality.
All of the playback material that Steve performs with is high-quality, legally purchased and licensed for performance!  
There are no illegal downloads - additional licenses have been obtained from UKCS or MCPS-PRS alliance for the reproduction of tracks in set-list order.  Permissions have also been obtained from individual playback suppliers for reproducing set-list copies.
Steve uses professional DJ industry-standard anti-jog CD players that buffer the track in advance.  The primary reason for choosing Numark MP102 and 302 CD players (for UK & Spain, respectively) is their outstanding anti-jog properties.  And, there’s always a backup CD that mirrors the disc in use; so in the unlikely event that a CD becomes damaged - there’s an immediate fall-back option / backup!

Set Lists:
Steve’s set-lists are usually pre-decided and tracks arranged in that general running order; minimising down-time between tracks and generally helping to keep things moving - the way a gig should be!

Of course there are occasions where set-lists have to be varied on the fly.  This is no problem at all, with dual CD players a new or alternative CD can easily be cued up during the current track, with absolute minimal disruption to the performance.

Insurance:
£5m Public Liability Insurance is provided by Musicians Insurance Services in association with Norwich Union Insurance.

Acceptable to most commercial venues and agencies.  For specific events requiring additional insurance, please contact Steve or your appointed agent in advance of completing bookings.

Location / Working Radius:
Steve is based in the South East of England (Essex), however, travel distance or working radius is not usually an issue - subject to schedule, contract conditions and/or expenses.  
Steve regularly performs as far afield as Spain and Gibraltar and is available for work throughout the UK, Europe & Worldwide.
Fly-back shows and short-term cruises are also undertaken.  Mid or long term cruises undertaken subject to contract and suitable lead-in time.
